There is a deft touch of wood surrounding the white orchard fruit and honeysuckle aromas that have glimpses of oyster shell poking through. The rich forward and relatively generous flavours possess a seductive mouth-feel and excellent complexity on the dry for the vintage finish. This should age well for the medium term. This wine is the perfect accompaniment to an array of food such as Boeuf bourguignon, creamy cheeses and fish such as salmon.
