Intense, deep colour with pefrumed warm notes of wood smoke, hot stones and ripe bramble fruit. The aromas evolve to exhibit characters of pine, spice, tobacco and fresher raspberry and red berries. The palate is full and rich with a firm tannic backbone balanced by delicious velvety black fruit and a seductive mouthfeel. This is drinking exceptionally well not but will continue to evolve and gain character over the next 5 years. Delicious with roast lamb, chicken or classic meat stew.
